As expected, a Wind Advisory will go into effect at 1 pm Sunday and expire at 1 am Monday. Gusts to 40 mph are expected outside of the storms. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

We have plans to mow our yard today. First time for the year. Enough leftovers from last night's supper so I won't have to cook tonight. I love to work outside and always look forward to being able to do it.

Going Deeper: When Armageddon Enters the Chain of Command The Rise of Christian Nationalists

There are few things more dangerous than a political movement convinced that God needs help finishing His work. But that is exactly the territory we are entering now. Going Deeper:

When I get through with housework, I'm hoping to find a spot that's protected from the winds to sit in the sun.

This mornings temperature when we got up was 33 degrees on our back porch here in #MiddleTennessee and still cloudy. The northerly winds blew all night and continue today. The sun finally drove the clouds away. It's going to be an inside kind of day for me.

A month or so ago, my husband and I had decided we weren't going to plant a garden this year. Then I said "We'll just have a smaller garden with low maintenance things". Then he got the garden tiller out and cleaned it up, did maintenance, sharpened the hoe, etc. πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎπŸ…β“

I’ve lived through four republican presidents. All tanked the economy and three started a war in the Middle East. I feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day.

It's mostly cloudy and windy this morning here in #MiddleTennessee. The temperature now is 70 degrees on our back porch. So far this morning....I've been lollygagging, now accomplishing anything productive...unless you can count enjoying all of the beauties in our yard.

Beautiful colors in your photo. Love how the colors in the sky reflect the same colors in the water.

I watched some videos of the storms that stretched all the way from Texas to Indiana. Said hail the size of grapefruit was reported in some states.

As long as you don’t need gas, groceries, affordable healthcare, retirement savings or constitutional rights, things aren’t so bad.

AI fakes spread disinformation. Is the distrust they create even worse? Manipulated images undermine our shared realityβ€”and the democracy built upon it.

America Still Has a Mission in the World America’s greatest influence has never been domination. It has been demonstration.

After WWII we could have gone home and left the world to burn.

Instead America rebuilt Europe, defended trade routes, and helped inspire the fall of the Iron Curtain.

Because America has always had a mission.

One we're dangerously close to forgetting.
