I've been wondering when Massie would do a dumb thing. Took him a little longer than I expected.

Job interviewer: So why are you deeply passionate about working with us?
Me: You need to secure servers, networks, and firewalls. I need to eat. Deal?
Junior dev: "I messed up badly. I'm so fired."
Senior dev: "Been there, done that...twice. *proceeds to drink coffee like it's no big deal*"
Me: "They named a production outage after me, and it was in the newspapers. *proceeds to drink coffee while staring wistfully out the window*"
I have been staying at a house that appreciates “luxury” more than I ever will, and I cannot wait to return to my rough terrycloth towels and regular cotton bedsheets.
as a kid, i fixed my parent's computer. as an adult I fix my kids's computer. pretty sure we are the only gen that knows how computers work
Does this issue impact Linux Mint as well since it is Ubuntu based?
If you have questions, ask around and people will probably be able to help out. Go with a big distro (like Ubuntu, Linux Mint, or Fedora). There is no "wrong" distro just different flavors on how things look and feel.
You will need to learn things as this is a different environment just like going to Mac would be a change for you. There are some technical differences, like how applications are packaged. Things are not like in Windows where you get an .exe and it just installs and runs. It's not hard but different
So to directly answer your question. Yes #Linux will work for your work flow. Godot, Aseprite, and OBS (game source doesn't work) have working versions of their applications. Davinci Resolve also works on Linux but it is a bit more complex to get setup than the other three and can be a headache.
Nope that's it. Everything else for games is using either Steam (with compatibility mode on), or a launcher like Lutris or the Heroic Launcher.
Still better than being a Bengals fan.

Whenever someone replies, 'Actually, this is a very nuanced topic' to a tech query, you're either about to witness a TED Talk-worthy discourse or a dumpster fire of epic proportions. I speak from experience.
Had to explain to a relative why we don’t fuck with NYT cooking recipes in this house.
Yes it’s because of the peas in guacamole recipe.
Listen I'm not pro-capital punishment, but just looking at that makes me question my ideals...
What are some open source projects that everyone that uses Linux should check out?
For me it is QEMU to play with virtual machines. If nothing else it gives you the ability to try applications you might not trust or just a different OS that you might find that you love.
I don't frequent the NYT cooking section, but peas in guac? What type of monster would think of that?
are you kidding me? lol.
Windows 11 is such ass why is my work PC giving me pop up suggestions to buy Black Ops 6

This is why I have to stick to Linux. If I go back to Windows I might reinstall League...
What he's saying in that clip doesn't even match what they had up behind him. Let alone the fact that it's hilariously not true.
