I participated in the Global Game Jam hosted by IGDA DC last weekend, and worked on this game, mostly on art and environment stuff. I made the goat model, the house, ghost animations, and some of the environment setup. Check it out :>

Also, my personal website contact form has been broken for a few months but finally was fixed,, oop :0 It turns out earlier this year DigitalOcean banned SMTP ports for most users, but by contacting support, they'll grant exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

This is a something I'd started on earlier this year but I've only recently gotten around to deploying thanks to winter break! Development will be slow but its a project I plan to gradually build on for years.

A photo of the crowd from our annual District Arcade. This year we held it at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library in D.C., a much bigger space than we've been at before, and it was PACKED. 35 locally made video games and there were times when you couldn't walk across the huge space for all the people there. Exciting stuff.
To sum up our year, @igda.org, how about our biggest District Arcade ever? 500+ attendees and 35 locally-made games. Game developers in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia: we host at least two in-person meetups every month. Come hang out!

I'll probably have to take my motorcycle back to the mechanic for a tuneup next month bc there have been some issues with the engine fluttering at lower RPMS but its whatever I'm just glad things are starting to come together lol
Its kinda tragic I paid $500 to get it towed from RVA to a mechanic at Fairfax when I could have just replaced the filter and topped up the oil myself but it honestly had me feeling so down then. And at the same time the landlord at my new place was being a shithead which sucked.
About my motorcycle It had fallen over in richmond during a storm while I parked it there for 2 weeks. It was leaking oil, a mirror was smashed, and the seat has some issues. just the oil filter was fucked and had to be replaced, the rest I'm doin myself lol already I was scared it was worse
I'm kinda drunk rn I'm just celebrating some shit. Had a big scare with my motorcycle but its ok. And I just got a job at the panera at GMU this week lol, got thru a waitlist on one class I'm gonna take and got some work study allocation lol
