Raku petite bowl, 50/50 wildclay/ porcelainy reclaim, this one is decorated with turkey feathers, horse hair and a little sprinkle of salt and sugar.

Petite bowl, 4.5” wide, 2.5” tall. Hand dug wildclay, woodfired. This is part of my Agnihotra ash collection. This glaze is made with ash gifted to me, the ash is from burned cow dung that was burned during the Vedic Agnihotra ceremony.

As I share here I’ll post about my process. So stay tuned! But it’s pretty simple, grab a bucket and shovel. Soak the clay/mix into a slurry then screen out rocks/debris/etc. let settle, skim off water and dry out to a workable consistency. I hang the clay in canvas bags or use trays lined w/ canvas
