Yes, that is the reason I was thinking of. One example that I have of this was when I played Sonic Unleashed for the first time, I modded the game to display glyphs for a Nintendo controller despite me using something else, which helped me do QTEs and learn the Werehog‘s extensive moveset faster.

The option to show button icons from whatever type of controller you want, instead of having them automatically match the one you are using.
