Yeah, they can’t get away with paying poverty wages anymore because people won’t be so desperate to eat.

When people say UBI won’t work because people won’t be incentivized to work I call BS.

I renovate homes and I love it. Even if I had tons of money going into my bank account, and I didn’t have to lift a finger for it, I would still want to do this work. I’d just do it for free.

If we’re to believe that Canada is the most educated country in the world, that’s really scary.

On one hand, I’d hate to think that this is peak intelligence. On the other hand, if this isn’t peak intelligence, I hate to think what that says about our education system’s efficacy.

If I’m trying to remember something it either comes to me intuitively, right away, like with lyrics, or it’s like fishing in a sea of thoughts bubbles and it could take a while, or I may not find that memory at all.

When it comes to explaining things I sometimes struggle because I’m trying to put into words what I’m seeing in my head.

If someone says a word in a strange way I see it spelled differently in my head.

If I want to design something I plan it out in my head and overlay my vision on top of the real world, like augmented reality.

I see pictures, I see words, I hear narration and sound effects.

These come to me naturally in response to things happening around me and people interacting with me.

I can also manipulate all of this within my head as I please.

I’m fascinated by how other people think.

This situation is tragic enough as it is. Let’s not make it more so.

As discourse around this situation becomes political, as it always does in situations like this, we need to remember to centre the victims. Speculation is not helpful. Demonizing groups of people for the actions of an individual is not helpful.

The mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge is devastating. My heart breaks for everyone who lost their lives and who were injured, their loved ones, for a community that lost its sense of safety, and to everyone else who has been directly or indirectly impacted.

OMG I just saw billboard Chris in downtown Vancouver and I asked him “are you billboard Chris?” and he said “yes I am”and I said “fuck you billboard Chris!” and felt fucking amazing. I hope you get a chance to do this someday. 

We all know I was referencing JK Rowling’s public transphobia, and how bullying of trans children leads to suicide, but clearly there’s more to it than just that.

Anyone who still claims I was wrong also can’t be trusted around children.

JK Rowling invited Jeffrey Epstein to a Broadway show Sunday April 22nd, 2018.

That’s 10 years after Epstein was convicted and 2 years before I stated that she can’t be trusted around children.

This year is starting off really well (well for my business at least) - in fact, I’m a little too busy. Monday and Tuesday I completed a new window install, today I started a kitchen reno, and I have three clients wanting me to start on projects for them ASAP.
