How it feels to talk with people about our OCs sometimes

People will not like you, for no good reason too. Even now Im still trying to get it through my own head that not everyone is going to like me and I just have to deal with that. Just keep creating!! With passion! And love! Thats all you can do

This was just me rambling, not really brought on by anything in particular btw!! I just wish and hope for everyone to create what they want without worry of being judged or scrutinized. You only limit yourself if you stress needlessly about others perceptions of you

And Im so glad to be on here with other ppl that have their own ocs. Its so amazing seeing everyone put so much into their creations unapologetically and with passion. I hope everyone can keep creating for as long as possible, I'll do the same for as long as I can too

Perhaps it isnt so wise to put so much of myself into something like this, but I like to view him as a huge creative project that I strive to build upon each day. I love him more with every bit of lore I think up for him. Hes really my most favorite creation ever and Im so glad ppl like him

But hes also an amalgamation of things and people that I hate. And I punish him for it. Hes a reflection of my mother and father mostly, very much inadvertently. But really nothing has helped me work through my feelings towards my parents as he has. Hes his own person but also a tool for me to use

Ive put a lot of myself into him, Ive put a lot of not-myself into him. Theres some very personal feelings I have that I dont know how to really process so I put those into him as well. He is an ideal to me in a way... he speaks without worry. He doesnt aim to please. He demands respect.

Its a bit strange to call Volke my child but I do feel very motherly towards him. Motherly in a weird, protective way I guess. He exists because of me. I dont want others to look at him wrong because hes an extension of me by virtue of being my creation. Rather I dont want others to look at me wrong

the targeting of any art that is "obscene" (terms of obscenity always to be decided at a whim) is fascistic yes but also how the only kinds of art that tends to be penalized is the individual/independent creators isn't lost on me. a patreon TOS would reject anything that can be streamed on netflix.
