AM in for some 1am breakfast. He was sitting on the bistro chair staring moodily into the rain. I’ll leave the door open crack for him to leave when he wants too, doubt we’ll have any marauders now.

It’s liquidity?

Keeping with green things, I put the rest of the pea soup in the fridge, and made a Thai green curry.

So that’s cool. I know I’m not allergic to that, so if I’m still itching tonight, I’ll need to start checking meds. Could be Tramadol, but I’ve reduced that by 50% , so maybe not.

Better look busy! 😸

Only about 2 hrs sleep again, itching like hell. I can’t find any reason why, perhaps I’ve developed a pea soup allergy. Didn’t touch a cat, dog, horse, goat, rabbit or any other bloody thing.

Soup is on it’s final furlong, made a good bit of JungleLand puzzle, and all the monochrome cats (bar Philomena, who rarely visits) have been in to say hi, have a bite, and take stock of my bathroom and bedroom.

I expect my slovenliness will be reported at the Cat Council meeting.

No vegetable stock for the soup. I need to make some of my own, and freeze it, without any of my allergens when I have the energy and money to buy a huge pile of veggies and deal with them.

A pea soup making day! That will be good, huh? I haven’t any other plans, but something that needs to be done always turns up.

A bit misty again today, okay-ish although it makes it a bit dim. I like mist, and that made the escarpment in the Eastern Transvaal (SA), or whatever it’s called now, one of my favourite places in the world.. although the humidity wasn’t good for my breathing.

I’d forgotten that those doors were painted red, and a hell of a lot better painted than the oyster grey they are now. I don’t think they even wiped down the red paintwork before slopping on the new. It’s all pealing now.

He’s supposed to be my “enablement” worker (a type of social worker??), and I don’t think that role means trying to shoehorn me into some cosy government post-Covid category, especially as a cursory glance at my notes, will surely show I was like this pre-pandemic.
