Labor has wasted $53 billion on tax concessions for wealthy property investors since 2022. A further $190 billion will be wasted if Labor fails to wind back the capital gains tax discount & negative gearing. This foregone revenue should have built public & affordable housing.

Labor doesn't want peace, or cohesion or actual societal improvement. It wants everyone to stop yelling at them.
It worked for the climate movement but it won't work for the anti-genocide movement.

Incredibly sad to see we have lost Professor Emma Johnston. She loved, and fought for, the marine environment, women in STEM, climate action and social purpose at universities. I knew her from her work at Sydney University where all of this was on display. Too soon. www.abc.net.au/news/2025-12...
