In case anyone is struggling with what happened last week, like I am, I’ve written ten ways we can take care of ourselves.

#1. Exercise. At a time like this when we can’t help but let our thoughts get carried away with themselves, we have to do what we can to get out of our own heads.

imo what 90% of the "Bluesky echo chamber" freakout is about is that ppl in media have spent the last 10 years in meltdown mode at receiving criticism from ppl on Twitter, and now they're looking at the prospect of an even *more* left-leaning platform replacing it and it scares the shit out of them

I think it speaks volumes that right wingers criticize bluesky for being “liberal” and “left wing”, when it’s really just that hate speech isn’t allowed.

Christ. I think even by the standards of some of our immigration "debate" this is relentlessly dim. "High risk" means that they are at risk there, not that people from there are a risk to you, you absolute balloon.
