I'm prepping docs for our accountant and yeah, that's what we paid for visiting doctors, labs, imaging, medication, visiting doctors who don't take insurance or are out-of-network, etc.
That's insane. INSANE.

We needed good insurance because of long C0VID issues plus rheumatological issues we both had before C0VID, not to mention that I just beat cancer. So medical care is not simple for us.
Even with a really good plan, we spent $40,833.23 last year OUT OF POCKET on healthcare. 2/

Since Molli's not employed due to disability (aka long C0VID) & I'm self-employed, we had to go through the exchange. Last year, we paid $2100/month for insurance good enough to cover our needs. 1/

Molli’s got another endoscopy today. She’s had a weird esophageal infection for 6 months now that’s been resistant to treatment. Fun times ahead today but maybe answers?

So writing doesn’t bring in a ton of reliable income and since Molli isn’t able to work, I need to bring in more than I do.
