Need to make my way over to Baltimore more often. Had a beautiful time walking around JHU campus and the BMA last week. Stopped at Pioneer Pit Beef on the way in, and their pit beef really did live up to the hype, well worth the detour.

Caught Ringu (1998) at JICC. First time I’ve watched, pleasantly surprised with how different it was from the American remake I watched in middle school. I really became engrossed seeing how the mystery unfolded. Love me some spooky movies and this one didn’t disappoint.

but I loved the movie and am eagerly looking forward to seeing the musical on stage at the next Broadway revival or if it’s staged locally in DC. In summary, if you like musicals and queer love stories set to the backdrop of the last Argentine military junta (🤞) , this is the show for you!! 4/4

setting was revealed. KotSW is a beautiful film with some heartbreaking and intimate moments played expertly by Diego Luna and Tonatiuh. I also enjoyed the JLo performances and liked the eye popping color and old Hollywood atmosphere in the musical numbers. KotSW is probably not for everyone… 3/4

Just watched caught stealing? I think he was great in it. Not familiar with the book the movie is based on, but I enjoyed the tone of the film and think he stood out among a pretty stacked cast.

Realizing this as an adult really opened my eyes to eating healthier. I realized I didn’t have to hate most vegetables, I just needed to learn how to cook them or incorporate them into meals in a way that’s palatable to my tastes. Now I’m no longer an Onion hater!

Brunch at Cordelia Fishbar near Union Market in DC. The restaurant week menu makes is a hell of a deal, and it tasted great to boot. Will definitely come back to check out other options on the menu.

Absolutely need something like this to house certain agencies and to prevent administration overreach. The past 7 months have been apocalyptic for research agencies and downstream FFRDCs/UARCs/Universities. I think we can turn it around and build something better with ideas like this.

You should try the type with fermented black beans in it. The 豆豉 just bring the flavor to the next level. It's my favorite of the bunch.

Visited the King Arthur Baking company pop up in Bethesda. Lots of cool gadgets and ingredients, and it’s priced reasonably as well. It will be here till January so I’ll be coming back for more flour and maybe a few extra gizmos if the budget allows.
