The PAC-MAN themed 2600+ is really nice looking!

That is so cool!
That’s one of those dream reissue cartridges, would love an affordable re-release.
The Atari Portfolio was a very neat little handheld computer.
I would love a console plus version of the Lynx TBH. The Lynx was Ataris sole entry into the 16-bit era and I would like a console + version to play.
First stop at PaxEast was the @atari.com booth for the exclusive shirt and Atari 50 vinyl soundtrack. Tempted by that Bubsy shirt, lol.
Anything can be interesting if sped up enough.
But boy do they look good sitting in front of the console when you are watching a show on TV.
Awesome, I really enjoy the magazine!
One of the better yard sale days for us, got everything below for $126, both PSPs had ac adaptors and work great. Some nice 3DS games, SNES mini, and stack of Xbox and Wii games including steel books and a CE. A lot of fun to be had with these goodies, the collection is looking very solid!
Probably the best stand alone issue of SSOC I have read in a while. A wonderful mix of comic stories, text pieces, poetry, a different REH character and even a letters page!
Crazy to have an Atari 8-Bit computer magazine in 2025!
Just ordered the first three issues of Cryptology from the site! I have not ordered from you guys since 2018, been picking up at my local shop but no one seems to have seen Cryptology. Looking forward to checking them out, the free PDD are a great perk!
Visited a nice little retro game shop in Billerica, MA called Boom Boom Games. Games as far back as the 2600 although some of the pricing may be out of whack. The gray box Canyon Bomber goes for $25 without the huge cutout and on Ebay for example. Good selection of gaming magazines and Amiibo.
Looks really good so far, Dark Chambers vibes for sure but o do enjoy rogue like games.
This is the game I am most excited for from the five new titles.
Went to the local used book store and grabbed a bunch of Conan and S&S books including a couple Thongor the Barbarian books signed by Lin Carter. Thongor was the original hero Marvel went after before “settling” with licensing Conan back in the 70’s. Carter also “finished” some REH Conan stories.
A beautiful piece of artwork, poster worthy for sure.
The worlds newest home use pinball machine just went live on Kickstarter. $1000 80% scale Alice in Wonderland pinball machine built for home use (and not commercial use). Could be a game changer.

Got to meet the great Roy Thomas at Northeast Comics Con over the weekend, had him sign a bunch of Conan stuff including my Savage Swords of Conan #1 #conan
If you love Atari (I had a 2600 back in 1980) you should join the Atari Club discord. Besides all the great Atari news and discussion they have an old school BBS style multiplayer online text game based on a lot of Atari properties called Cartridge Wars. Join and have fun!

The passion shows in every issue!
Amazing letter from the July 1980 issue of Mediascene Prevue #41 regarding Empire Strikes Back spoilers. “The mere thought that Luke Skywalker gets maimed… makes fans cringe. We know these to be completely untrue, Star Wars is intended primarily for children…”
