A High Wind Warning is in effect for Milwaukee & all of southeastern Wisconsin until 4PM Friday. Wind gusts could top 50-60 mph.

WEEKEND SNOW STORM -- Wisconsin is looking at a significant snowfall from Saturday night to Monday morning
-> Freezing line will determine precip type in southern Wisconsin
-> Too soon for exact totals; storm track & freezing line still shifting

โ ๏ธTONIGHT -- A clipper system brings rain & the potential for a wintry mix far North of Milwaukee. Winds ramp up overnight (40-50 mph gusts). I can't completely rule out some gusty snow showers as the front passes around daybreak tomorrow.

Up to 1" of slush is possible far NW of Milwaukee. Not much accumulation is expected near & South of Milwaukee.

HAIL RISK | SE Wisconsin remains at the northern edge of today's focus for severe weather. Scattered storms may move into Wisconsin between 5P - 10P. Hail is the main risk with the strongest storms. The hatched area indicates that damaging hail (>2" diameter is possible)

TUESDAY NIGHT | Another chance for severe weather Tuesday night -- Scattered showers and storms form in the vicinity of a warm front in Illinois. Some storms may clip far SE Wisconsin -- especially areas that were missed by storms Friday night.

SEVERE RISKS | Strong to potentially severe storms arrive into SE Wisconsin after 11P tonight. The strongest storms may be capable of producing damaging winds, followed by hail and an isolated tornado or two. Given a frozen ground, some isolated instances of minor flooding are possible.
