National Research Council of Canada's $900 million investment under our govt's Defence Industrial Strategy will reinforce Canadian leadership in biomedicine & quantum research. This will help Canadian businesses develop dual-use tech, and grow our capacity for aerospace & drone development.

Canada's priorities in the Middle East remain—as they should—on de-escalation of hostilities, ending targeting of civilians, and working to safely get Canadians home. The fed gov't continues to advise Canadians in the region to shelter in place while awaiting evacuation.
