I’ll echo Alan’s and John’s thanks: to everyone who played and sang with us over the years, and everyone who worked on our career and on our recordings and live shows. To our significant others, who put up with all the craziness.
Yes, the songs really did mean a lot to a lot of people, and it felt - feels - as if we have many more friends out there than we could ever get round to meeting in person.

The Long Long Goodbye Tour turned out to be the best possible way to sign off - whatever memories any of us were carrying of disappointments, disagreements, years ...
... it’s an honour as well as a great pleasure to be invited back to represent, well, just ourselves.
It’s okay for things to end. It gives new things more space to start.

We played here many times in the past, almost too many for our own good, but the chance to see and mingle with friends and peers in the Danish/Celtic world was irresistible.
Now that the festival has spread itself to serious representation of American and Canadian folk and roots music too ...
And so the Long Long Goodbye train reaches the buffers, at Tønder Festival near the Danish/German border. Just as Shrewsbury was the right festival to tie up our career in England, Tønder is right for northern Europe.
