100% Tomoko Kuroki. I still think WataMote is the most realistic slice of life anime ever made. Every other anime takes great efforts to make their characters at least somewhat cool. WataMote is more...realistic.

Now people are developing phobias of people who smile too much. Who could have seen this coming?
The best description I've ever heard of Chuck Schumer is that every time he takes the gloves off it just reveals another pair of gloves underneath.
I mean Chuck Schumer says that "every American deserves access to quality, affordable health care.
But access is not provision, and he has proposed or supported no bills for universal coverage of the United States populace.
So like, he "supports" it. But that's kind of been the issue, empty words
That Sachiko! XD
You say that like Florida was a bastion of GOP power during 2000. They can absolutely steal swing state elections and have proven that they can. I mean we just got done watching the courts tell Donald Trump that he will face no penalty for trying to steal the Georgia election. Expect more of that.
Swing or red states which we need to flip to secure a majority.
So are you saying that it would be easier to steal a presidential election than two to three Senate seats?
One would think it would be immeasurably easier to steal a couple of Senate elections in States already governed by Republicans than it would be to steal an entire presidential election.
Do you not remember the 2000 election? An entire election was overturned because of an extremely small number of districts in a single state which was under the direct control of a republican governor. You're wrong about this and history has shown that you are wrong. This has happened.
Yeah this guy is just shitty. Like don't come online spouting bullshit opinions if you're just going to dismiss anybody who responds to you with trite childish bullshit.
So if he puts ICE agents at key polling locations with access to an online database of faces to be "detained", causing them to be unable to vote, what mechanism will stop him? Will the police arrest ICE? Because if your solution starts with "the courts will..." they have proven that they won't.
I might have agreed with you before they sustained a large ICE presence in Minneapolis, even after murdering two people in the street. They don't have manpower or support here either, but it doesn't stop them.
I love how you still think you can reform your way out of this.
ICE has to go, and the people enacting arrests and ordering them need to be jailed. If this does not happen, it will irreparably damage the country, and the same way that the country was damaged when we never imprisoned slave owners.
Looking in on this conversation as someone who exclusively torrents is fun. They could never get me to subscribe to them, no matter what they did.
That's a funny way of saying "we never tried their tactics and don't intend to".
There wouldn't be ICE in Minneapolis right now if the Dems hadn't broken ranks to fund the government again. They should have let the government fall to pieces around the Republicans.
Right. They get leaders willing to hold the whole government hostage for any minor issue that sticks in their craw, and we get leaders that will bend over backwards to keep the government open while mass injustice is happening.
Then y'all wonder why they're being called ineffective.
I mean I agree with you, but a very seldom does this kind of justice come from within the nation being oppressed by the dictator, and more often comes from other nations which conquer the oppressive Nation. South Korea and France have been historical anomalies. Good anomalies, but anomalies.

Yeah, tell me more about how we need people of high quality in high power positions.
Yeah I love that feeling when you don't need death defiance to win.
Glad to see you liked Apocalypse Hotel, I really liked it. Also thanks to whoever put Campfire Cooking in Another World on the list, it's great...especially if you're obsessed with certain VAs like I am. XD
You asked for an example of Democrats supporting election reform, you didn't say it had to be successful.
If you are waiting for them to succeed at passing election reform before you support them, in order for them to earn your vote toward election reform, you're playing yourself.
The national popular vote interstate compact still needs more states to sign on to it for it to take effect.
The abolition of the electoral college did not end up gathering enough support to beat the Republicans, who of course were 100% against it.
I gave you the examples you asked for.
Like in 2024 when Senate Democrats tried to abolish the electoral college? Or when Democrats created the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact?
If you bemoan duopoly but continuously abstain from elections where one party is supporting election reform and one party is opposing election reform, you are at fault for what's going on.
Maine Democrats passed electoral reform bills despite Republican vetoes.
If they did, do you think they'd publicize it?
And when it comes in your house, the legal understanding should make no difference between different kinds of gases. I don't want somebody legalizing or refusing to prosecute police putting gas into people's houses on the grounds that "it isn't like it's nerve gas"... Which they're already doing.
We're not in Leningrad and it's not 1941. We're not hemmed in and you can usually choose to go the other direction than the gas without like, losing part of a battle line. Literally just move the assembly elsewhere.
Okay so I literally just did a search of blue sky arranged by date and there was literally only one person talking about this on the entire website other than to say "don't take atropine". He was talking about being a kid in Iraq. This is a made-up Boogeyman, nobody's getting atropine.
