There's a broken cuneiform tablet from the Old Babylonian period, nearly 4,000 years ago, which preserves a tiny portion of a dialogue between two friends.

My problem with the use cases for history is that it draws conclusions and processes data from only the most complete, digitized, formatted sources--which reinforces power dynamics of the survivance of records etc. into the next wave of "Big Data Says." That's a longer debate. *shrugs*
