Tony Bloom.
I was there for that final.
Youβve misunderstood. I clearly didnβt explain it clearly.
It didnβt look like that in the stadium. It looked like he didnβt want the substitution to encroach on his time. It was odd. I mean, do players βallow substitutions to take placeβ.
At the Amex the other night, Rice was walking slowly from the centre of the pitch to take a corner. The ref signalled for a substitution. Rice saw this, stopped, and started adjusting socks and shorts till the substitution was done. Then carried on his slow walk to the corner. Itβs all bizarre.
The Gatsby final paragraph is so apt.
Opens with national humiliations. Which to be fair is a topic on which Hannan has first hand experience.
Yep. Over the last couple of seasons tbh - looking more at League One and Two. This season more on the Premiership with Hearts after Tony Bloom invested (Albion season ticket holder). Really enjoyable.
Preston Manor will reopen on 14 March and I am just carrying a ghost up the stairs in preparation.

I'd never thought I would get to say this, but it's #WorldBookDay2026, so why not treat yourself, or someone else for that matter, to a copy of my book, celebrating the history of the @officialbhafc.bsky.social matchday programme. Available at seagullsprogrammes.co.uk #BHAFC
Ha ha - that sands of time run out is a brilliant touch.
I hope youβre still asking the only question in a couple of years.
On this day 1999, it's three defeats in as many games for #BHAFC, after a 2-1 loss to #lofc at Priestfield. The crowd of 4,825 see Kevin Nicholls score his only goal for Albion, as we drop 4 places to 13th in the Division Three (League Two) table. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk

You are right to ask. These people will never be satisfied. If a roll back starts it will have no ending.
Dyson? No Ta.
Just reading Colm Toibinβs The Magician (and listening to Buddenbrukes). Iβve no idea how accurate it can be as it reads like a novel, but enjoying it.
The floodlights were from Love Street. Thatβs football heritage. Cheers.
Itβs a disgrace.
Yes, we remember.
Thatβs a great one.
This is superb - thoughtful and compassionate and careful and true.
