13. Gitaroo Man

Not really one for rhythm games, but I felt like I owed it to myself to play it given how much many times I listened to the OST.

Game is hard, but honestly really fun! Super rewarding to beat each song and final boss had me shaking at the end. Two hours well spent!

You think listening to the Gitaroo Man OST for 2 days straight would get tiring, but it’s just way too good. 😌

A broken, blue heart

With a broken Blue Bomber heart, I am no longer the voice of Mega Man.

12. Psychonauts 2

I really enjoyed this one! Everything I could want out of a sequel and then some. I had hard time if I preferred it over the first game or not with this one edging slightly over it just for the sheer QoL with the platforming. (I liked the humor in 1 more though!)

It’s decent. The talismans were pretty neat and it feels nice to slap a bunch of talismans on your arm and barely take damage. On the other hand lanterns in this game are quite literally the worst thing ever.

I don’t regret my time with it. Maybe one day I’ll try the extra dungeon.

Finally, FINALLY get to try it out after all these years! Honestly excited to jump into it when I have the time.

Going to add my voice to those asking not to support the way the SEGAGAGA translation was done, especially in the light of some additional food-for-thought from moots, and what we've seen with anime dubs/subbing lately and calling that out as awful and a risk to skilled translators.

If you feel that use of AI art assets at any stage of the process is an automatic out, but ChatGPT translations are fine if they're "checked" by people, it might be worth asking yourself why that is. Because it sounds a whole lot like valuing the work of translators less than other creatives to me.

Until Then is getting a DLC??? I don't know if my heart will ever be ready for it.
