Olympia's first ever Porch Fest was a huge hit! So many bands to see! So many chill spectators to draw! I miss going to house shows all the time and just drawing as many people as I could, but today was the perfect little dip back into it.
I really enjoyed All Star Superman. There's a lot of gems in it for fans of golden age Superman.
I'm all about bright colors to combat the gray and dreary.
My house looked like a construction site for a month and now the neighborhood thinks I flipped my house. After all, why would you improve your living conditions if you can't sell them for half a million dollars?

I printed out a couple of pieces by Pia Guerra, my favorite political cartoonist, and turned them into a double-sided sign for today's 50501 protest. I hope you enjoy these as much as the crowd did.
Sometimes, my husband gets weird food cravings, but this one takes the cake. After I drew this, he corrected me. Let the record show that his exact words were, "I'm not craving cat food anymore."

I have a license, but haven't owned a car since 2003. I had issues for years trying to find jobs that didn't require me to own a car, even when the job did not involve any driving. I feel this issue deep in my bones. And thank you SO MUCH to @nondriver.bsky.social for your hard work on this bill!

I'm always amazed at the number of cars that line up to pick up kids from the elementary school in my neighborhood every afternoon. Just about every kid lives within a one mile radius of the school - easily walkable and bikeable for most families.
