I've been to some countries where people live under military rule or autocracy. And without fail, one of the questions I get when they ask about life in the U.S. is whether it's true that Americans just let homeless people die on the street.
Something I want to put out into the world: as shitty as things are right now, there are still things to find joy in. Letting the assholes take your excitement for life will do nothing for your neighbor or yourself. Take joy in the act of doing, the act of being creative.

Actually, there’s an entire starting adventure in the book! It’s called Village of Loudwater and is basically just a town and a 6 room dungeon. So yeah, that’s getting thrown into the Shadowdark world I’m making. It’s pretty neat if you can get the book I recommend it.
My dad gave me this copy of the 4e forgotten realms campaign guide and I realized something… 5e doesn’t have campaign guides. I mean, I knew that logically. But man does it feel like they dropped the ball with the supplement books for 5e. Maybe this will have some cool info though.
