Not on here very much anymore. Feel a bit pointless after surrendering myself to the fact that my book just isn’t going to happen. At least not now. But I am on the clock app doing guitar crap if anyone wants to be friends there.
I’ve been keeping busy with my job, my patients, and have been playing guitar again in my free time. A love I had neglected for some time. I can’t not write. I’ll go back to it sooner rather than later. But for now, writing (stories) and I needed a break.
Some things just aren’t meant to happen. I know my writing is strong. But there are potential issues with the story itself. Maybe someday I’ll try again with another book.
Haven’t been on here in a while. I needed time. It was rough going from being agented and believing my book would be published, to accepting that my book is just a document on my laptop. No one has even read the revisions I spent a month working on and was so proud of. It’s likely no one ever will.

Haven’t been on here in a while. I’ve been wrapping my head around the fact that I’m done querying. I’m going to keep writing. I can’t NOT write. Maybe I’ll query again in the future. Maybe there’s another agent out there for me. But for now I’m focusing on work, and trying to get back to music.

I’m looking for books that would be appropriate to read to elderly patients. Looking for books that aren’t too childish but are short and easy to comprehend. The only ones I’m familiar with are the “step into reading” books. Does anyone have any other recommendations?
