The research from Stanford shows:

➡️High-income Black mothers face the same risk of dying within a year of childbirth as the poorest white mothers.

➡️Infant mortality among the wealthiest Black families mirrors that of the lowest-income white families.

A Stanford study analyzing all CA births from 2007–2016 found that Black mothers and their newborns experience significantly worse health outcomes than white mothers and infants at all income levels.

The #HealthyFamilies Act would require businesses to give their employees paid sick days – something not everyone gets. Paid sick days are crucial to keeping workplaces, schools, and communities safe.

📣 Exciting news: @delauro.house.gov and @sanders.senate.gov have reintroduced the Healthy Families Act.

This bill would make workplaces safer and more equitable for all workers– it’s a no brainer.
