I made all the paints myself with pigments sourced from clay and minerals, ground into linseed oil like painters of medieval times.

This painting is called, “When the Forest Breathes,” and it’s my attempt to capture the creepy and beautiful "alive" feeling of ancient woods. Most of my nature paintings are literal; this one was an abstract experiment with texture, movement and form.
