Now that slavery is done, unskilled white people still rely on Black labor and create the share cropping and Jim Crow systems to maintain Black labor but with hold Black power.
They must keep *some* civility b/c Black workers as needed to maintain the economy.

Well, Slavery is ended b/c an industrialized (powered by coal) North is less dependant on thr South and the south hold far too much power.
Slavery is ended to cripple the giant and shift the power dynamic
