I was saying this to someone recently, it's the older people writing fics, making art, going to conventions, organising meetups and fundraisers and drag shows. That's not to say they can't also enjoy those things, but they wouldn't be there to enjoy without us elderly peeps. π
It's always wild to me how they're basically saying, "you're old, why are you enjoying stuff?!" π
Bold of them to assume they won't be old people with interests one day.
I'm really pleased I was able to contribute some items this time, because I know I could never afford most of the auction items but I have a huge yarn stash I can use to raise more than I could spend. π₯Ή
