Today I have consciously uncoupled from Spotify. Should have done this a good while ago. I have moved streaming service to Tidal. I've not done any due diligance, but I hope they are not wanging money into AI weapons research/systems. TBC. Anyway new streaming service, new slate.
Ditto to below... but also this is an amazing slice of synth-pop. with an ethereal vocal. it is brill. Point your ears at it groovers.

I know. The Pallot 'era' was something else. I was so much younger then. Full of vim, vigour and going off pure instinct. I was just wafting around waiting for the right follow up to concentrate the back of my head on.
...and here's me, 13 years later, in the Carlton Club, Manchester, in this Hann* video. Again the back of the head acting is off the scale. This time at 2:06. This is a beautiful song and with the bonus of the back of me really ought to go viral.
*Hann are brilliant

14 years ago, a Thursday before the Easter Weekend, and drinks with friends after work at The Glad, Lant Street, Borough captured and subsequently 'viral' on youtube. I'm in this Narina Pallot video. Finest back acting ever. 19 - 33 seconds, table behind Ms Pallot.

Tsk. Another sartorial influence though Mr Rowland.
The Joboxers just on TotP on BBC4. First band I ever saw live, as support for Madness in 1983. 42 years of gigging. Crikey. Anyway never occurred to me watching them wang about on the telly now how much stylistically they were an influence me. Had thought it was more the Mondays and 'Loose Fit'.
The Sundays?
I bought this record from an antique shop the other summer. ยฃ2.50. In amongst the Jim Reeves.
Same with me, with The Bicycle Motorcross Bandits.
It's not going to be my Album of the Year, as it was only out on Monday, but do yourself a favour and point your ears towards the Hann album, Forever at a Glance. It's just lovely pop music. It's got guitars and lyrics and vocals...stuff like that and it's brill...
