So with no restriction on moving the team, and no expansion for the foreseeable future, it looks like the only way to get a team is to buy an existing one and move it. Lots of American cities want teams, and local ownership prospects are dubious.

I fear the fact that the Whitecaps don’t own their stadium means exodus.
