Also, the economy is more about feelings and experience to the average American than professional data. People are feeling really strapped financially.
Trolls!
This was the late 90s. ๐คทMy roommate also passed out with a cigarette in his mouth and caught the sheet curtains on fire.
Is that a wood stove?
My college dorm room was incredibly cramped. They put three of us in one room. We made curtains between our beds with sheets from the ceiling. I had to listen to my drunk roommate (I was too) have sex more than once to R. Kelly. That's my R. Kelly story.
Have any of you ever heard Charles Manson's music?
The Pianist was an amazing movie.
To my knowledge, Thicke only wrote a creepy song. Was he ever accused of anything other than that?
*Could be, I have a terrible memory.
Hmmm.... Let's see... I could either keep working on this dreary Friday afternoon or I could take my sweet daughter to the new Trolls movie (we are both fans).๐ง
I joined Meta's Threads. It's definitely got a lot more action than Bluesky. At the same time, I'm constantly blocking (like X). I haven't blocked a single person here.
I'm currently listening to Andre 3000's new flute album. I dig it. Atmospheric.
I was always under the impression that smoking was a fundamental part of being French (in a good way), but that may have changed.
I must admit that my practice is primarily in state (Virginia) courts. I'm interested in the analysis of "substantial part" in 28 U.S. Code ยง 1391(b)(2), which is the stated basis for venue in the complaint. I don't know the case law discussing "substantial part". www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/...
Federal Code of Conduct - Canon 3 (which many states mirror) only requires disclosure of the conflict if the judge is contemplating remaining on the case. Otherwise, it's simply recusal.

It's extremely unusual to have the billionaire owner of multiple international corporations shitposting on social media. I really can't think of another similar case.
Fair enough.
Twitter was losing money when he took over. I'm not a fan of his, but the company wasn't in the greatest financial position when he took over.

On the drive home last night, I heard that Wu Tang's "Enter the Wu Tang" is 30 (1993). There must be a connection.
These eagles were definitely hunting. One swooped down really low and flew effortlessly through a wooded area.
They've made quite the resurgence along the James River. You can spot many as you get closer to the Chesapeake Bay. I saw the first one a few years back. I was generally confused. "Was that what I think it was?"
Like a big ass 1980s Cadillac.
I forgot to mention that I saw three bald eagles flying together over the weekend on the James River (Virginia). I never saw them as a kid, and this is the first time I've seen more than one at a time. It was beautiful.
That was the part that became a lot more noticeable on X after the changes allowing compensation for interactions. People would say the most outlandish things and others would rage share them. Meanwhile, that tweeter is getting $ on all the retweets.
Setting aside content, it's unusual (unheard of?) to have the billionaire owner of international corporations go on social media and spout off their beliefs on a variety of partisan hot topics. He'd be better off showing some restraint. It may bring instant gratification, but it's not a great look.
They will need to move past this to keep my attention. So far, this site seems largely dedicated to complaining about Musk. I'm not crazy about him either, but I don't really need to know about his every tweet (and the constant rehashing thereof).
No one is talking about the safety risk of huge EV vehicles. The EV F-150 weighs a full ton more than the gas version (which is already heavy and large). At the same time, manufacturers are abandoning sedans in the US market.
Jon Flanders; but it incorporates elements of Rudy. He's the small-time coach who gets his big shot at fame (for one season).
Needless to say, muted words would be a MAJOR improvement on this site.
