Saw Sonic 3 again with my family at home, it was delightful
seeing it opening night with the dedicated fans and experiencing their excitement and cheers was thrilling in one way
but seeing it with a room of small children laughing their heads off was endearing in another, equally awesome way.
Saying a specific movie "relies on visual effects" to tell its story is like saying another specific movie "relies on costumes" to tell its story.
So excited to have been able to be a part of Sonic 3!! I loved it!! ❤️

If any slashfilm/screenrant/shovelblog shitty website says an element in a newly release movie "isn't CGI" THEY LITERALLY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT

Why we do characters using CGI sometimes instead of practical … And we do a lot of practical makeup and SFX too, but you have to choose the right tools for the right outcome. A extract from the video I posted earlier with @jamesgunn.bsky.social
