If you have a platform, use it to speak for those whose voices are not heard.

Society is a better place when we stand up to be counted.

It is heartening, in these days of wall-to-wall televised breathlessness for the politics of hate, to see ordinary folk voting for inclusion

Good morning! I'm in Uganda to visit family and friends.

But depending on your perspective, don't worry or I'm sorry: I'll be back by the end of the month.

See you soon, NYC.

The Singing Detective Dennis Potter's classic drama serial with music, about a pulp thriller writer whose memories, 1930s-style gumshoe fiction and debilitating skin disease weave him an altered reality.

The Singing Detective is back on the iPlayer!
If you've never seen it, treat yourself. One of the jewels in the BBC's crown.
There's nothing else like it.

I've been there for Fort Process. A sound and art festival that uses the unique spaces and acoustics to create incredible experiences. Sadly the last one was a few years back.

I had full bloods done recently. My GP called to tell me 'you'll be relieved that your bloods have all come back ok'. I then checked on Patients know best to find THREE out of range, which I of course googled. As well as something sinister they can all be a sign of low folate and low vitamin B12 !
