I think that's the gist really.

Before the events on the First he could manage every element to some degree but he'd default to Earth, Wind, and Fire since they'd work better in tandem with his Egis.

Now he's less inclined to use summons due to that one near death oopsie

I actually don't have any reason why Rise uses Ice magic as his preferred element.

Probably because it's easier to manage with his Astral alignment? Cold and stasis seem to go hand in hand, and constructs (read: icicles thrown at you) seem more stable/durable

Made another one for a friend (@/Hexadox_ on twt) this time it flips into the 2nd form on death because Lore

A limit break because yeah why not

Got too excited for the Magic: The Gathering x Final Fantasy set coming out soon so I made some custom cards of the boy for fun :D

I think lore wise I want him to toe the line between genius and crackhead

They burn up after one use since they're just regular woven bracelets attuned to his unique aetherial signature

Lore: Rise gives his close friends bracelets (royal blue and their favorite color, with a charm and all that) that let them summon him to their side in a pinch

He has been summoned mid bath

He's also been summoned to block a stray punch in a bar fight

These events are not mutually exclusive
