I think it wouldn't be too easy, but I could see myself doing some Proust shit, preferably with a character trapped in a fantastical and threatening situation. It'd all be a metaphor for depression, of course.

There is something compelling about good art coming from suffering, but in my eyes that's mostly Just World Fallacy. Suffering can inform great art like any aspect of humanity can, but it's not a must imo.
I never got quite invested in the Mystery of The Island in seasons one and two, but every time something wild and wacky happens now I shrug and go "I guess this might as well happen."
And Locke flip-flops on the spiritual significance of The Hatch and The Numbers, as every single flashback shows us a wilder and more notable life in an effort, seemingly, to keep talking until Character happens.
One character is both psychic and time looping somehow? And the will of the universe prevents him from changing things once in the form of a woman in a jewelry store so he (implicitly) never tries again?
The "Main Three" get abducted because The Guys What Be Bad needs one of them and hold the other two as leverage despite blatantly only needing Kate for that, and all that to make Jack do a thing he is known to do even to his own detriment?
I'm now well into Season 3 of my Lost retrospective watch and I gotta say the shine is starting to wear off. The endless main cast threeway never having the decency to just end or resolve into an amicable polycule, overcomplicated plans, the fog of ambiguity, and, of course, time loops.

If anyone expects you to sit on a jury you should let them know you know what jury nullification is and that you think it's both fun and funny. That should do the trick.

At least decent ergonomics, and one of those smart watches that nags me to get up and shake the rust outta my bones once in a while. I also stay vigilant against nascent migraines and try not to push myself too much.
Waiting a bit to let ideas percolate/shit to slide into place is also a valid action RE: the hellish fractal labyrinth :)

It can get me going, and I generally like writing the most at about 1.5 cups of coffee. It's not a requirement or anything, but I do enjoy a cup of Go Faster Juice while I write.

I find myself using dictionary.com and wikipedia a lot, as well as the OneLook Thesaurus which is great for those moments when you know there is a word but can't remember it for the life of you.
