A render based on Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Sonic is in the foreground leading the race, while Jet and Miku follow close behind on their Extreme Gear. In the background, Cream is about to crush Eggman with a monster truck.
I made this render back when CrossWorlds dropped, but wasn't able to post it here as my state was blacklisted.

get a load of this guy
A 3D render of E-102 Gamma and E-123 Omega. Omega is giving Gamma a little version of himself. Gamma, holding a present wrapped in green paper and a red bow, looks at the tiny Omega in bewilderment. A crappy Christmas tree (a singular branch with an ornament hanging off of it) adds festive flair to the white void the two robots are standing in.
Happy Holidays! #SonicTheHedgehog
weird bug
Here they are with no fancy GIF.
I wanted to upload a GIF of a blendshape I made but Bluesky kills the GIF
very cool

Seriously though, I have *many* things I am not liking about the Switch 2
But open world Mario Kart hits all of my wants damn it
After looking at the Switch 2's prices, just a reminder that I have commissions open! More info is on my Carrd.
(...$80 for Mario Kart. ๐ซ )
Special thanks to GrimNovalis for providing the Sonic crayon drawing and suggesting that the Tails Chao have a lit match. Somebody should probably go take that from them.
(Also, if you're interested, there's a (very) short story on the DA upload of this render.)
A 3D render of E-102 Gamma surrounded by Chao. Gamma is observing a neutral Chao that is drawing a portrait of Gamma. Gamma holds the pink crayon in his fingers, wondering if he too would be able to create art with his recently found humanity?
I had originally made this Gamma render solely to make an April Fools joke about Al-generated art (it's art of an Al and it's computer generated, hardy har har), but I actually really ended up really liking it as I went along.

I can't get a break as a Horizon fan LMAO
Sony, I think you missed some of the major plot points in the same series you're using for this shit.
A 3D render of Sonic the Hedgehog and Aloy as LEGO minifigures. They are both dodging blasts from a Thunderjaw. In the background, a Watcher observes the fight.
Being two fellow gaming heroes that battle robots and uncover the secrets of ancient civilizations, I think Sonic and Aloy would get along pretty well.
(This is a render I've wanted to make for years now. With the recent LEGO Horizon game I figured it'd be fun to finally do it!)

Render is done and will be going up tomorrow afternoon.
This is a render I've wanted to make for years at this point, so I'm glad that I was finally able to do it (even if it wasn't in the same "format" that I imagined it). :)
This took way too long, but it's basically done besides small details.
Never again.
I've been working in this Blender file for probably over 24 hours cumulative, but I finally got the shaders for Aloy's "decorations" figured out. I've also got half of the face done (not shown here), so I'm so close to being done.
...also why are you here
Realized I haven't actually shown the models I've got ported so far. They don't have fingerprints or scratches, but I can always add those later if I feel like it.
I'm back in my kart racing kick so Sonic Racing CrossWorlds has me so unbelievably hyped
Hoping we get Puyo Puyo rep with the SEGA characters ^^
3. As for how environments are stored, I looked into it a bit and it scares me. I will instead be getting what little I can from the map files and fudging something from that.
All of this for a one-off render I want to make. ๐ซ
Got a little more work done on this today.
1. I learned I can export the "common" machines with UModel and got a Watcher. However, the brick colors were done in-engine so I had to reference a promo image and color pick from the Tallneck/Thunderjaw textures.
2.Still no major progress on minifigs.
On a semi-related note:
LEGO Aloy in Fortnite when
She's the only Gaming Legends skin with an actual physical minifig so it makes sense to make her compatible with the LEGO modes
After this I'll have to see how environment pieces are stored to see if I can even do anything cool with the models I have now. If I can, I've got an idea in mind.
3. The minifigs use multiple layered textures and masks alongside multiple UV sets. For example, Aloy has ten textures just for her head piece (eyes, eyelashes, eyebrows, mouth, lips, freckles, Focus).
That last one is the one that's throwing me through a loop since I'm *really* not a shaders guy.
I started porting models from LEGO Horizon into Blender and I'm having some issues.
1. Most of the machines aren't exportable thanks to FModel throwing an error (something about morph targets?).
2. They use multiple UV spaces per model and FModel just merges them into one.
