I once saw one with a tft fitted on it with an adapter board but I couldn’t tell if it was an off the shelf kit or something custom. Just know that it’s possible.

I would say til nothing goes wrong it’ll be tolerated but no it’s not as easy as being under 1W (which for Europe is super high only one sub band of 868MHz allow 500mW with really low duty cycle most is this are limited to 25 to 100mW)
Not valid at all in Europe. The duty cycle matters especially if you don’t do LBT…. Also you’re technically responsible of the CE compliance of those thingies transmitting in ISM band. In this case the easiest standard to apply is the EN300220
I agree that for maximum user ISM is certainly the best place.
I’m no law expert but in my opinion that means excluding non ham from the network. You can’t use ham status and transmit data without a callsign. About experimentation… there are a lot of them in and even with open and documented modulation. meshtastic is better in ISM imo for max user and crypto.
I have no problem with the project I like it a lot but I just want people to not mix hamradio and those kind of project :)
When some gvt will find that this use of meshtastic is a problem they will take opportunity to act against ham radio right too….
I see people talking about meshtastic and their use as HAM radio operator. First meshtastic is most of the time in ISM band and not HAM band and also you use cryptography on the link which is absolutely forbidden for HAM radio.

Je suis en train de tester les derniers STM32 et ESP32, les chips sont impressionnants… les toolchains, outils et SDK sont toujours plus cauchemardesques… si ils pouvaient s’inspirer des RP2350/2040 ça serait tellement mieux !

So the workflow Freecad -> UGS -> CNC is working for me I’m happy. The CAM tool of freecad is still a little raw but I think it’ll not last long before having something user friendly !
