Here’s My current early Dynasty perspective on the 2025 Draft.
A lot will change, if you don’t see someone it’s possible I haven’t watched enough tape on them yet.

As always, anyone I missed or any questions, ask away!
Bennedict Mathurin flashed this upside his rookie year, before it completely dropped off last season. However the question long term should be does this scoring provide enough value to a team to guarantee him a role long term.
What to do with Tyrese Haliburton, we wait. The drop in shooting %’s will come around, theres no reason to believe the last 2 years where a random unsustainable explosion.
Id have a look back at the frustration that creeped in with Darius Garland last season.
Its exciting to see Brandon Miller finding his legs, he has been a somewhat streaky shooter this season, but is consistently backing it up with defensive contributions (mostly steals), boards and assists.
Im not convinced Jonathan Kuminga is destined for more than a high level slasher/rim finisher. This season feels like the Kuminga from 2 years ago, and we have lost all the improvements from last season that we loved. Hopefully his upside can break through again.
I have been slow to drop Joel Embiid stock. I think we now have to move him down. He will clearly be better when he gets himself in form, but theres is too many recurring issues to trust his long term output.
Dylan Harper has got to be one of my biggest movers over the week for upcoming draft stock. His footwork and general read of the game is well above what I expected.
A fair chance he is drafted to run a team which will result in great fantasy value.
Dalton Knecht is another rookie who shone bright this week. Obviously a huge run of hitting threes at an exceptional rate (caped by his 9 three game).
There will be value for dalton, but ultimately I suspect we may be left wanting in the supporting categories.
Stephen Castle has been consistently showing very high level defence, ultimately the offence is what will define what his role on the team alongside Wembanyama is. Plenty of room to grow there, Id like to see the jump shot trend up (29%) as we get into later season.
I think there was some value in this last week, so here’s another quick dynasty week wrap-up: ⬇️
🧵
14) Kel'el Ware is not getting enough run to properly evaluate. We know the concept, highly skilled questionable motor. In theory Miami should be a suitable fit to get the most out of him, we simple have not seen it yet.
13) Yves Missi has looked as advertised in minutes. He’s a rim protecting rim running athletic big, and will give you the accompanying stats for that profile. Don’t expect any big playmaking or shooting leap.
12) Cody Williams unfortunately has not done anything to negate fears of his low motor, or low per minute production. As we currently sit I think we hope that his production improves as he builds out the frame, and it should do so.
11) Bub Carrington has done more than enough to gain our attention for a redraft adjustment. Im not sure the defensive output is sustainable yet, but he is at minimum a solid counting stats contributor when given the minutes.
10) I think we are satisfied with Zaccharie Risachers start to his career. Nothing flashy but he will likely be a positive contributor as he matures and gets used the NBA pace. He’s had a few flashes of higher output, I don’t feel they are very sustainable.
9) Stephen Castle on ball defence is translating, I think it’s safe to assume he will earn minutes long term on the defence alone. I may be early but I think I will rule out him running point long term, looks to be more of a specialist wing.
8) Mixed feelings on Zach Edey, but he has been a positive rookie. Im still not sure on the ultimate upside long term, Memphis do not lean into a high usage high minutes Center, and likely will not in the future. He could easily be a 10, 10 big with a block in low minutes for multiple years.
7) We obviously have nothing on Nikola Topic, but seeing OKC explore with 5th starter spot there is a small opening someday. Everything can change before we see Topic though.
