Framing the gayness as the problem is so shitty. The thing that makes the parents uncomfortable is admitting to their kids that their love (or god's love, whatever) isn't actually unconditional and will be revoked if the kid likes the wrong person.
They don't have to have conversations with their kids if they don't want to. That's the thing. Kids aren't really confused about it. It's adults that complicate it. And now these parents will point at real life gays for forcing them to have these conversations instead.
I need every single male artist that follows me to read this. It's not very long. You need to bear witness to this shit. You have to see it with your own eyes because you never will in your everyday life.
