Genuinely think the story will be much better if they just stick with vyrn, lyria, katalina and everyone else depends on the current plot (rackam can be there ambiently for the grandcypher). Don't the side stories already kinda do it this way?
In the whole of act 2 it feels like the writers kept trying to push them in, like oh yes everyone needs to say something in this scene bc Power of Friendship, but it's always so jarring. They have no stakes here!! I'm not surprised it gets to this point in act 3
