My ex was pretty keen on his book 'Debt' and I always wanted to read it, and I have 'The Dawn of Everything' which I have started. But both are huge in comparison to this dolly's attentional capacity.

Yes I've always struggled with this. The implication that you catch behaviours like you catch a cold. From laughter being infectious to transness being a social contagion, the implication is that you are doing the behaviour for reasons not your own, from outside of you, by unseen forces or entities.
