2) Brimstone by Callie Hart (audiobook re-read) - 4/5
Left me wanting more on my first read and the narration on this is ON POINT

5) The Butcher’s Masquerade (DCC #5) - 5/5
BAWLING I TELL YOU
I’m a sucker for a found family trope and this had everything. BUT THAT ENDING. I WASNT PREPARED
4) The Gate of the Feral Gods (DCC #4) - 5/5
Back to 5 stars! The intrigue! The relationships! Let’s burn it down, Carl
3) The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook (DCC #3) - 4/5
Alright, Carl, I’m in, let’s burn it down!
Katia’s development was such a strong part of this one, I love the dynamic here (which as all good dystopian fans know, bodes so well for the future…)
2) Carl’s Doomsday Scenario (DCC #2) - 4/5
Ok, since when is this series also gonna make me cry?! Donut and Carl for president. I can’t wait to see what happens next
1) Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman - 5/5
Ok, I’m obsessed. Donut is the best thing to happen to modern literature. Bring on level 3!

Last year, I saw a post about starting 2025 softly. I’ve decided that should be every year. Big changes start with small steps and there’s always time for self care.
Today that looked like homemade pizza, a good book, and two sleepy puppies.

Here it is, my 2025 reading wrap up! Two years down and forever to go!

Best of the best was The Knight and The Moth. It lives rent-free in my head.
Worst of the year was We Used To Live Here and it probably should have been lower than a 2.

10) In Five Years by Rebecca Steele - 4/5
Unconditional love and self-discovery. No better way than to end the year. I can’t believe it took me so long to read this book, bump it up your TBR!
9) Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir - 5/5
This book is so hyped and it’s every bit as good as they say…underhyped even. I loved every moment of this ride and I’m still crying happy tears 🥹
8) You Better Not Pout by Mia Sosa - 2.5/5
This one was more meh for me. Kind of like a third act break up without the first two acts and it just doesn’t do it for me.
7) All Wrapped Up In You by Rosie Danan - 4/5
Sweet little Christmas Eve meet cute
