Can anyone explain to me what the Blue Labour justification for this is? Who out there will vote Labour because Mahmood prevented a Sudanese Chevening Scholar? And to be honest, why wonβt the PM simply overrule her?
Bizarrely not one mention of cycling to work.
You can even get a tax break to do it.

Moving ideas: An agenda for expanding the political scope of the policy mobilities approach Eugene McCann Volume 50, Issue 2 Abstract This paper addresses the policy mobilities approachβs relative inattention to counter-hegemonic activism and contentious politics. It outlines one way to expand the literatureβs engagement with the political. By introducing the notion of βmoving ideasββideas that circulate among places and also move people to political actionβit outlines five avenues for policy mobilities scholars to advance the approach: situated knowledge on-the-move; persuasive storytelling; encounters in physical βtruth-spotsβ; the temporalities of activism; and the role of βfuturingβ in policy change. It ends with notes on the frameworkβs possible applicability to numerous social movements and its challenges and limitations.
In new issue of Progress in Human Geography: "Moving ideas: An agenda for expanding the political scope of the policy mobilities approach." Connects policy mobilities & social movements studies. Focus on geogs of counterhegemonic ideas. Abstract π #academicsky

One step forward, two back. Our work on healthcare worker attitudes towards PWUD in Athens found stigma is deeply embedded. When disclosure by public figures becomes grounds for prosecution instead of dialogue, it cuts off attempts at evidence based drug policies. www.hotpress.com/sex-drugs/fo...
Thank you so much for this honor! All thanks to the wonderful organizers in Philly who let me document these struggles and approach to educational justice in the city!
The next time politicians say there is no money for health or humanitarian aid, I will remember this: $1 billion per day on war

It's not the job of the health service to discipline labour but Streeting & his friends at Palantir for whom the disgraced Lord Mandelson was a paid lobbyist want to use our confidential medical data to do precisely that.
Only the Greens have promised to kick Palantir out of our public services.
