Night picture of Old Barrows at my alma mater Oberlin College. Michael Berry, were you there? I attended my 45 year reunion last weekend.

This is a kit from Modern Quilt Studio, Lighthouse mystery quilt-a-long. I made borders and bottom binding from scraps of the quilt colors to make it a tad wider and allow the colors to fall off the bottom edge. Quilted by pro Dottie Vaughn with cotton batting, washed and dried for crinkles!
Thanks, Ed Shafer!
My friend took some pix of the two hawks hanging around the nest:
I do that too.
Happy happy Birthday, dear Ellen! I look forward to our bike rides starting up soon. @ellenbern.bsky.social
I've always loved that picture of your Beast.
We have a red shouldered hawk nest on a tree near my house. I hope the parents and hatchlings will help with our exploding rabbit population.
Do we get extra points for protesting in the rain? (I'm the one in yellow.)
Very Cool!
Got to follow those ideas! Nice!
Many Moons quilt:
Pattern was "Whisper" from Modern Quilt Studio. Quilted brilliantly by Dottie Vaughn on her long arm machine.
How do I edit a post? I wanted to add that the moons are mostly Northcott fabrics, Ocean and Peacock prints. The background prints are mostly Northcott as well, with some others mixed in. From Jackman's Fabrics.
Rising Moons quilt: made from leftover half circles of background pieces from Many Moons quilt. New background fabric is Benartex and only 6 pieces. Circle patchwork and Y-seams were challenging. Quilted on my domestic machine.
