Woke!
Woke!
They've got a reputation to uphold!
Mostly by hand!
If you hit the head pin like that you're gonna end up with a 7-10 split, which is probably the most germane analogy in that video.
Ah, no I'm not, it's only on for a weekend.
I am going to try it though. Will report.
Did you crowdfund? I feel like I may have kicked in?
Thanks for taking the hit on behalf of what is right, either way!
Very pleased that you did!
The conference yes, the communications policing less so.
I recall. Seems a little out of their lane for sure!
I followed the drama at the time. Did you share the letter? I'd love to see it!
Utterly bizarre!
Porton Down? Not Cheltenham?
American pilots are certainly oddly obsessed with turbulence. En route freqs are often more about ride reports than routing!
If passengers want a really smooth ride, they should try high-speed rail! 🤷
I hope he just underestimated the opposition and didn't actually think that was a competitive starting team.
They have the best HLS in the country; you have to make your approach between the buildings of the City!
Sorry I'm not more open-minded about LLMs, it's just some fucking maniacs shoveled out a bunch of useless bloatware featuring that technology, did not give me any chance to opt out, reorganized the entire economy around it, zeroed out gains made by green energy, and made it impossible to buy RAM
They believe that a significant enough proportion of the people listening to them are stupid.
History suggests that they may be correct.
Also of consideration is whether handedness affects this ability.
If we're moving towards vehicles where this fine control is more vital, ought we to be making left-handed pedal arrangements for left-handed people?
This would be trivial for fly-by-wire setups, but the regulator may have kittens!
I have not studied the equivalent effect in those who drive automatic, let alone 1-pedal, vehicles, but am curious.
Fine control in pitching the foot while seated is definitely not a natural ability, particularly against differing resistance.
Tangiental, but you may find interesting:
When people who drive manual transmissions are learning to taxi aircraft, which have differential toe brakes, they will often pull to the left when stopping, due to the muscle memory of (more) fully depressing the clutch, while feathering the brake...
Nothing against liver, I love it, but quick Google suggests ~550 lb of meat from a cow, and 15 lb of liver...
Agreed. Why be tribal when tribalism is the problem!?
Are racists thick, or are thick people racist?
Did it though?
Of course the world doesn't hate the USA; hating a whole country is what the hard-of-thinking tribalists that got you into this mess do.
They don't TRUST the USA any more though, and won't as long as the electorate can be tricked into enacting fascism with no safeguards.
25 stacked subframes on a Dwarf 3 a couple of nights back.
I think the great thing about capturing a gibbous moon is the depth of texture you get near the terminator.
Bortle 5ish
Orion Nebula, photographed with a Dwarf 3 smart telescope, processed with Siril.
First light for the Dwarf 3, and for me as #astrophotography! Pretty pressed with the results; Orion Nebula, 120 subs 30/60/4K, 55 usable, Siril, GraXpert, VeraLux. Need to get my head around this whole stretching thing!
Also note how the denser chlorine tends to hug the ground, which the smoke does not.
