Prezentace je součástí přednáškového cyklu „Nové poznatky a prameny k dějinám holokaustu“, který pořádá EHRI-CZ ve spolupráci s Židovským muzeem v Praze u příležitosti 80. výročí od konce druhé světové války.
Renata Berkyová (cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renata_...) je doktorandkou sociálních dějin na Filozofická fakultě Karlovy Univerzity, zároveň působí na Ústavu pro soudobé dějiny AV ČR. Věnuje se válečným a poválečným dějinám ve vztahu k Romům a Sintům, odškodňování, politice paměti a reprezentacím.
Přiblíží témata transgeneračního traumatu, úsilí o odškodnění či navrácení zabaveného majetku a o plné společenské a historické uznání genocidy Romů a Sintů. Nabídne také pohled na to, jak se tyto otázky promítají do současné identity, paměti a občanského aktivismu členů jednotlivých rodin.
