Thank you! I appreciate any help I can get
Last year I kept the plants alive all summer. This year, let's see if I can get them to produce.

I keep returning to this account but have no idea what to do with it. Nothing interesting or relevant to say.
I am nothing if not consistent.
Of course the video posted to Truth Social is abhorrent and it is not lost on me that he created and posted it during Black History Month.
Silence at this hour - from anyone but especially from elected officials - is deafening.
Another snowy weekend, so attempting to get my fingers to play blues. Not bad for self-teaching after years of not even getting this far.

Using the snow day to work on the jacket design for the first of three albums we are releasing this year.

North Carolina hasn't had this in quite a while, so even a little is a lot for us
I am a happy polar bear.

Weather willing, I'm tempted to submit for a casting call for Monday and play hookie from work if called.
Other than the grocery store and work, I've only really been out in public once in the last couple weeks. I feel like I'm getting sick.
I want to slap whoever shared this.
No idea if this is any official account or someone pretending. But the sentiment is there regardless and it's very sad.
It is gotcha week for the senior trouble sausage. Ever the #spoileddog she got an extra special treat - a dried rabbit ear, her favorite.

Skin care haul to start the year. All in an effort to not age like milk.

1. Ending the year by setting things in motion for 2026. After a burnout diagnosis and a career being de-professionalized by AI, I'm ready to hang up my corporate hat. Waiting on other schools but have at least one "yes" from my alma mater to become a mental health clinician.

2. After years of tending this way, I made the conscious decision to be sober-ish. I can count on one hand how often I drink in a month, and now when I do it is to appreciate the bartender's or winemaker's artistry.

3. I made an effort this year to develop a green thumb and grow my own food. I only got one cucumber, but the plants lived all season. That's a huge improvement!

4. It takes confidence to not just solo travel, but to go out in the wilderness in a foreign area alone. Hiking the red rocks in Sedona by myself became more peaceful and reflective than I expected.

5. I've visited some of those smaller music venues as a performer, too! We pushed ourselves to perform more and succeeded. We are also releasing an album, and all the producing and editing I learned in college is coming back.

6. I made it a point to visit smaller venues and see local and regional bands. I've discovered several really good groups and look forward to more next year. Pick a show and let's go!

7. I embraced independence and got on a plane to Europe by myself (again) and spent 2 weeks traveling with strangers going deeper on my ancestry in Ireland. Forcing ourselves to do scary things and meet new people is where growth happens.

8. This group has become a second family and the festival community a second home. And it's defiance: I have profound hearing loss, wear a cochlear implant, and can still sing a cappella harmony. And get paid for it. We push each other and support each other.

9. I certainly won't be the youngest person at a music festival, but I also won't be the oldest, either. And once I am the oldest, I hope I inspire people to keep dancing and stay as young as you can.

10. Maggie is getting older and her age is catching up quickly. Heart problems, back problems, cataracts - she still wants to walk and jump as much as she used to, though.
She does kind of waddle π€£
I need to remember I have this account. Being more active here and finding digital community can be a goal.
Senior dog close-up for the algorithm.
I'm grateful the Yule daily principles are translatable into whatever your language is.
Oh these hats are GOOD. Ready for the 2026 festival season!
Life this weekend. #dorkie
January. We are going!
