I keep getting ads for Marathon that say it's "from the creators of Halo and Destiny," but weirdly doesn't add "and also some artists who didn't consent to their work being used."

As a person who has always used (some would say overused) emdashes a lot, I do not enjoy the new constant anxiety that people will assume Iβm using AI for even casual communications.
I'm pretty terrible at remembering to self-promote, but a new Arkham Horror RPG book I wrote for has been announced!

Oh my god sticker hats on animals ffff
I wonder if they ever caught the Domino City serial killer who ran amok right before childrenβs card games took over the world.
Never enough time to stop feeling burnt out.
And never being sure if you are seeing a show in order!

Conversation came up around a gaming table yesterday about only seeing part 1 of a 2-part TV episode as a kid because of just never being able to catch part 2 airing, and how this is a struggle that probably seems totally alien to kids these days.

βSophie-Wan Kenobiβ¦that is a name I have not heard in a long time.β
If I could make something official using any Nintendo property of my choice, Iβd choose Star Fox and it isnβt close.
this is the sickest shit ive ever seen
I have writing and other work I should do, or at least games to play, but I would rather obliquely quote Babylon 5 on the internet all day.
Whatβs it like to have a brain that functions as intended?
i'm still injured and unavailable for any short-term projects, but if you're an art director looking to expand your roster of creatives for anything in Q3-Q4 of 2026, i'm your guy! #portfolioday
Okay. I need a boost here.
Looking for artists.
We're talking about some potential comic book style art and/or concept art for the #iHunt film. We're privately funding development, so budget isn't Hollywood.
I want queer and/or nonwhite artists. I want cool styles.
Links? Tags? Self-promo?
Also finding the right background noise to help my brain stay on track.
Iβm still figuring this out myself.
Iβve had some success using a journal where I can write down my daily goals (ideally broken down into chunks that can be accomplished in a few hours tops each) and then bubble in progress as I make it, like Iβm building a heckin World of Darkness character.
Dear Google,
When I Google the term βpalisade,β by itself, I promise I want to know about the fortification, not the Hyundai. Just give me Wikipedia.
The part of my brain that does thinking is just permanently broken.
Asking the real questions.
As someone who had a lot of those Playmates Star Trek ships as a kid, and as someone who has a lot of models of Star Trek ships as an adult, Scholastic really missed a merch opportunity not making a 1:1 scale Helmacron ship.
I was so psyched about the new Divinity. Was.
I doubt my opinion matters to @larianstudios.com but Iβm not interested in a product made in the way that has been described, for a variety of reasons.
With almost a month now to chew on Wicked: For Good, I think the biggest missed opportunity of these film adaptations is the total lack of any meaningful comment on the gold standard. Itβs like they donβt even have opinions on William Jennings Bryan!
(Please keep post-season 1 spoilers in replies to a minimum. Iβve seen the whole show but not all have.)
Anyway, B5 is a good show and you should go watch it it you havenβt. Season 1 can be a tough watch at times if you arenβt into the vibe, the dated effects, and the stilted acting, but honestly I think itβs an easier watch than, say, TNG season 1. And some of B5βs stories are sadly relevant today.
After OβHareβs death in 2012, B5 creator J. Michael Straczynski revealed that OβHare had been experiencing worsening mental illness during that first season, a fact that theyβd agreed to keep private until after his death. OβHare wanted the fans to know eventually.
I was surprisingly sad to see OβHare depart the show between seasons. I remember, the first time I watched B5, being relieved.
Of course, that was back when the reason for his departure wasnβt publicly known.
But I really remember Michael OβHare, as Commander Sinclair, being the weakest link, and he was far from it. Heβs not Patrick Stewart or Avery Brooks or anything, but he was fine. Sometimes really good!
(Next skeet has spoilers for early season 2 soβ¦)
