Angela Rayner has resigned but Nigel Farage who uses Tax Havens to pay almost no tax hasn't.

Time for Farage to go too.

This is oligarchy. This is obscene.

While 60% live paycheck to paycheck & kids go hungry, Jeff Bezos, worth $230 billion, goes to Venice on his $500 million yacht for a $20 million wedding & spends $5 million on a ring while his real tax rate is just 1.1%.

End this oligarchy.

And now he sits in the mess he made throwing insults at those who are clearing up after him.
What a monumental piece of shit.

No one who cares about wildlife and ecosystems is now likely to vote Labour in 2029.
Or about Gaza.
Or poverty.
Or inequality.
Or international aid.
Or corporate power.
Or democratic reform.
Or racism.
Or trans rights.
So that's goodbye to just about its entire vote.
What are they playing at?

Sir, With Reform's victory in the Runcorn & Helsby by-election, a process that threatens to result in autocracy has begun. History tells us that all autocracies begin with populist movements making undeliverable promises.
When it is clear that the promises haven't materialised, blame is applied to everyone other than the populist. First the forces against populism are blamed, then the media and eventually the judiciary. We are seeing this in an accelerated form in the United States and will shortly be seeing it in the UK.
The pattern never varies, from 1930s Germany to modern-day Russia. It starts with one voter wishing for a painless means to achieve the unachievable, instead of accepting that difficult decisions are painful.
Voters who supported Reform will be the ones most likely to suffer.

Sir, Nigel Farage has attributed his party's success in Thursday's local and parliamentary elections to worsening illegal immigration. This from the man who repeatedly assured the electorate that Brexit would result in our being able to take back control of our borders. As always, Farage appears to have the answer to everything but the solution to nothing.

Farage and Reform whip up people’s prejudices, then offer to get rid of what they hate.Their power feeds off ignorance and hatred. They make people angrier about the stuff they fear, then promise to fix it. Of course they won’t. But they know who to tell you to blame when they fail.

Labour is handing this country on a silver platter to Reform. People do not vote Labour because they hate immigrants and want Reform-lite. They vote Labour because they want it to make a positive difference to their lives.

Whatever the final results today, one thing is certain: if we’re serious about restoring trust in politics, we have to start by replacing our archaic voting system with a fairer alternative

There are clear lessons so far - we need a fairer voting system & Labour needs a reset. Trying to out-Reform Reform doesn’t work. Instead of lurching to the right, government urgently needs to rethink its approach. It could start by addressing the genuine concerns of working people by taxing wealth

Rachel Reeves is right that the world has changed - so why won’t she change her strategy to reflect it? Rigid adherence to arbitrary fiscal rules & refusing wealth taxes is a political choice that’s causing huge pain & harm, as well as laying out the welcome mat for the populists at Reform UK

⚖️ The scales aren’t balanced.
The govt is cutting support for disabled people while refusing to tax extreme wealth. After 15 years of austerity, it's time to rebalance our economy—for good.

Tax wealth fairly. Invest in people. Protect our future.

Today I took a message to Rachel Reeves at the Treasury: it's time to rebalance the economy.

A #WealthTax on multi-millionaires and billionaires would raise £24billion - nearly 5 times as much as the government is trying to save by taking support away from disabled people.
