My Top 20 Horror Books ofย 2025
My favourite books of the year
Loved this one, it has so much creepy atmosphere
I just saw this on youtube. I've been a supporter of the NDP in the past but this is gross and entirely the wrong tone to take now.
A photograph of an e-book reader displaying the cover of the novel Night Film by Marisha Pessl, which features a close-up of a young woman's face, zoomed in below the eyes.
Just going to gush about this one...horror/mystery fans if you haven't read Night Film by Marisha Pessl yet, it's fantastic. This is the kind of book you just sink into and spend a week obsessed with... #booksky
James Webb Satellite took a fantastic shot of the Planet Saturn with it's Near Infrared Camera (NIRCam) and the Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI). This is just an Amazing shot that shows the planet and the rings in brilliant detail.
Will do! I'm always nervous of super popular books hence the waiting for the library copy....
I've had this on hold forever, super curious about it...
On a streak of three amazing creepy books in a row: Night Film by Marisha Pessl, Bat Eater by Kylie Lee Baker, and Thin Air by Michelle Paver.
Bat Eater is tied for my favourite novel of 2025 so far, and the other two are backlist titles I read for the first time.
What are you reading?

Beautiful!
She's flown under my radar somehow but I just picked up It Will Only Hurt for a Moment, have you read that one?
