The response that a normal person might make under the circumstances. I'm excited to see how people handle it.

That is the most appropriate sound track I can think of. But people like to live. Maybe I will get better luck
It's a fun adventure and leaves plenty unanswered. I figured it would get some interest. Also not a difficult adventure to run
HOW'D YOU KNOW? ๐
If you are in the LA area for Valentine's weekend I will be running two #TravellerRPG events at #OrcCon2026. A great way to spend time with a loved one is fending off drug fueled people stuck in a space lab! Sign up here:

Happy new year to all. Took a walk along the shoreline after the rain let up.
This year, my goal is to focus on everything that brought me joy in the past. Walking and drawing are a part of that.
In preparation of running a PoD campaign, I decided to make a simple tool to help with keeping all the tables straight and speed up the process to generate prey encounters.
free for anyone else who would like it.

Last minute invite to Disney concert hall for an LA philharmonic performance. Got to walk around downtown for a bit beforehand.
Birthday dinner ๐
I had to redefine what a happy life means to me for the second time in October 2024. It took until this October, a year later, to start actually building that life. I'm still asking myself if this is what I truly want and that's ok.
It keeps me moving forward. Even though I've fallen on my face.
I'm trying something new this year.
I'm going to celebrate my birthday with other people.
I've been afraid of this for almost a decade and I don't really understand why. I need to accept my friends and build positive memories by making a change.
I'm terrified but I won't let it win.
I agree, everyone at the table should have fun.
You get to the other side of a rough patch and realize you made it.
You're still here
You're still on one piece
September was an exhausting month. So much of my life happened at once.
I finally got through to the other side. Life settling down feels like I finally finished a long hike up a mountain.
I'll make it through to my new normal. Hopefully happier.
One fluffy kitty to make the day better.
After 5 months, my master's thesis is written and submitted. Just hoping the admin goes smooth.
Some pictures from Gen Con 2025
I went to Gen Con this year. Like last year, I had a ton of fun. It is one of the few times in my life I feel entirely myself. No mask, no hesitation, no shame for who I am and what I like.
I hope to find that feeling in more days than 4 a year.
I've Inherited my grandfather's trait of avoiding conflicts to my own detriment. Taking up space takes more effort than it should.
I need practice. And confidence
These past few weeks have been difficult. Mostly lack of motivation to do anything. My school, my work, my hobbies. Depression is not an easy fight. Some days are harder than others. Routine hygiene, exercise, and meals keeps it from getting worse.
I just want to get better.
a few meditative breaths, maybe a walk to the kitchen for a drink, staring at the outdoors. eventually the flow state kicks in...or is that after the sit-to-stand desk arrives? I forget.
In my spare time I am reading through the first act of Singularity. The latest #TravellerRPG campaign. It is an exciting setup. Taking place in the core makes me believe I would weave in some of the other existing core worlds adventures as side stories to expand the semi-open world feeling.
On the way into work today and I experienced both sides of LA within the same quarter mile.
A film crew recording traffic (probably background footage for something) followed immediately by multiple ID checkpoints.
News says the city is on fire...it's just Monday here
Talking with my Aunt about the days when car were all manual. So we started to look online for what cars are still manual. We ended up finding the 2025 version of her first car the Honda Civic Si in the same red. We can live out her youth and have the same experience.
Played it a few times during a convention. Immediately went to get a copy and was lucky to get a first print copy.
If you haven't tried the Finspan board game yet, I'd recommend it. It changes up the Wingspan play style on a good way. Also SHARKS!! ๐ฆ
Pabu is king of Laundry mountain ๐
I keep thinking of jokes like the ones made in SpaceBalls.
Radars get *jammed*
They must *comb* the desert
Travellers are hired to chase after a ship that was stolen. This ship was put together by the hand of one very talented builder. It is said that it can transverse space within a bubble. Making it the fastest ship without a jump drive.
(It is actually a ship in a bottle)
The neighbor's cat Molly. She always wants attention when I am outside.
